SOUTH BEND —Virginia M. Lucky, 84, passed away at 12:05 am. Sunday. December 7, 2008, in Cardinal Nursing Home. Virginia was born on February 14, 1924, in South Bend, to George and Katherine (Jandaoska) Toth. She retired in 1989 from the St. Joseph County Treasurers Office where she was employed for 33 years. Mrs. Lucky was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Church and M.R. Falcons.

On November 28, 1942, in South Bend, she married John J. Lucky. They shared 66 years of marriage together. Also surviving are a daughter, Judith Ann (Bob) Sutton of Osceola; a son, Kenneth J. (Julie) Lucky of South Bend; five grandchildren and nine great-grand-children.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Helen Nagy, Mary Gomory and Kathleen Price, and by a brother, Steven Toth.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble, Is handling arrangements.
