John J. Lucky
Aug.6, 1922 – Oct.21, 2011 SOUTH BEND — John J. Lucky, 89, passed away at 3:55 p.m.Friday, October 21, 2011, in the Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. John was born on August 6, 1922, in South Bend, to John and Anna (Pinterics) Lucky.He retired from the Orisich Construction Company in 1980 after 23 years.He served his country in the Army Air Corps, and was a member of V.F.W. #360 and the American Legion.
On November 28, 1942, in South Bend, he married the former Virginia M.Toth, who died on December 9, 2008. John was also preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Rudnicki.
Surviving are a daughter, Judith Ann (Bob) Sutton of Osceola;a son, Kenneth J. (Julie) Lucky of South Bend; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
