Edward L. Kobylarek, 76, of South Edison Avenue, South Bend, Ind., died at 2:16 p.m. on Monday, March 8, in Memorial Hospital. He was born on Nov. 6, 1922, in South Bend, and lived in this area all of his life. Mr. Kobylarek retired from South Bend Range as a foreman.

On July 20, 1946, he married Mildred Gadowski, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Nancy (James) Dukai of South Bend; a grandson, Corey Dukai of South Bend; two sisters, Jane Tafelski and Eugenia Robakowski, both of South Bend; and by a brother, William Kobylarek of Novi,
Mich.

Mr. Kobylarek was a veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Pulaski Post #357, the Ushers Club and Senior Citizens Club, both of St. Casimir Catholic Church.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road., where a combined Rosary will be said at 2:30 p.m. by the parish, Senior Citizens and the Usher Club. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Casimir Catholic Church Building Fund, 1308 W. Dunham Street, South Bend, IN 46619.
