Armida (Colza) Kobek

Armida M.Kobek, 82, of Tanglewood Court, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 11:30 p.m., Thursday, July 22, in Healthwin Specialized Care Facility. Mrs.Kobek was born on Dec.18, 1921, in Cherry, Ill., to Dante and Lena (Cheisi) Colza, who both preceded her in death.Also preceding her in death was a grandson, Alex A.Kobek Jr.;and her brother, Dante Colza.
On May 9, 1942 in St. Patrick Church, as Armida M. Colza, she married, Alex Kobek, who survives.Also surviving are her children, Armida (Harvey) Stauffer of South Bend, Ind., Alex A. (Suzanne) Kobek of South Bend, Kenneth A.Kobek of South Bend, Robert A.(Lisa) Kobek of Indianapois, Ind., Dante J.(Theresa) Kobek of South Bend, Edward M. (Andrea) Kobek of Granger, Ind.;nine grandchildren;and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 26, in St.John the Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m.Sunday, July 25, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.Bendix Drive, where a parish rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. Mrs.Kobek was a member of St.John the Baptist Parish, the University Club of Notre Dame, and the Christ Child Society.
