SOUTH BEND - Alycce T. Vargo, 68, of 137 Village Way, died at 7:27 a m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Vargo was an employee of the former Robertson's Department Store and A & P Stores. She was born March 27, 1922, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident

On Feb. 15, 1947, in South Bend, as Alycce Ciesielski, she married Francis Vargo, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Jeri Bryan of South Bend and Bonnie Bryant of Huntsville, Ala.; two sons, Dr. Dennis of Indianapolis and James of South Bend; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Harriet Thomas of South Bend; and a brother, Leonard Ciesielski of Portage, Ind

She was a member of St Adalbert's Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 am Wednesday at St Adalbert's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at St Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
