Mary Pauline Bieganski (Nemeth) - Class Of 1941 VIEW PROFILE

Mary P. (Bieganski) Nemeth

Mary P. Nemeth, 58, of 230 N. Albert, died at 5:40 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was employed as a music teacher at Peltz Music for 15 years. Born on Sept. 6, 1922, in New York City, she lived in South Bend most of her life.

On Nov. 25, 1946, in South Bend, as Mary P. Bieganski, she married Joseph Nemeth. He died in 1971. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Wrobel of South Bend and Mrs. Adele Darnell of Niles; and a brother, Joseph Bieganski of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Rev. Thomas Lemos, C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where a parish wake will be observed at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. She was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
