 SATELLITE BEACH Margaret Marie Ketchum died Thursday, July 10, 2003 after suffering a stroke on August 1, 2002. She was born in Laurinci, Hungary on December 4, 1920. She immigrated to the USA with her family two and a half years later, settling in South Bend, Indiana. During World War II, she worked at Bendix Field processing flyers to and from overseas assignments.

Married on May 8, 1948. She traveled with her USAF husband to numerous assignments, excepting Korea, until 1967 when they retired and moved to Satellite Beach. She then did the bookkeeping for ABC TV Service for the next 27 years while also taking many cruises. She had a love for fishing which she learned from her father and passed on to her son. She also became an avid shrimper after coming to Florida. She always loved to dance and was featured in the Hungarian Harvest Dance in earlier days.

A devoted wife for 55 years, she leaves behind her husband, Freddie Ketchum, Jr., and son, Douglas L. Ketchum. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 1st, in the Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, 505 Grant Avenue, Satellite Beach Fla., with Father Louis A. Towson officiating.
