Edward Konstanty

Edward Konstanty, 59, of 1109 Wilber, died at 11.10 am, Jul 18, 1980, at St Joseph's hospital after a brief Illness. Mr. Konstanty was an employee of the University of Noire Dame maintenance department having Worked there 11 years. Born on March 20, 1921. in South Bend, he lived here all his life.

On Aug. 16, 1947, in South Bend, he married Helen Przybyl, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marsha Hurley of South Bend; five sons, James and Dennis, both of South Bend, and Kevin, Paul and Tim, all at home; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs.Sophia Szerencse and Mrs. Sylvia Shellen, both of South Bend; two half-sisters, Mrs. Verna Coffman and Mrs. Helen Buszkiewicz, both of South Bend; and two half brothers. Alex and Anthony Kruk, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 9:30 a m. Monday in the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Rev. Jacob Smith, CSC., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p m. today and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Kamewski and Sons Funeral Home. Konstanty was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Casimir Catholic Church.
