Bertha J, "Bea" (Jakinski) Bare

Mrs. Bertha J, (Bea) Bare, 49. of 1718 Hildreth St., died at 9:45 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after a three-week ill-ness. She was a dental assistant for Drs. R. E. Brennan and W. S. Flack, in Mishawaka.

Born Nov 28, 1921 in Gary;she came here as a child. As Bertha Jay, on Feb. 13, 1943, she was married to Donald F. Bare, who survives, along with two sons. Kenneth E. of Boca Raton, Fla., and James A., and a brother. Veto Jay, both of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today in Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Rev. James E. Pender, pastor of Trinity Grace United Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Bare was a member, officiating.

Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
