MISHAWAKA Ann DeRue, 71, of North Hickory Road, died at 10:40 am Wednesday in SL Josephs Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mrs. DeRue was bom Nov. 26, 1921, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area residenL
On Nov. 22, 1941, in Mishawaka, as Ann Fuzy, she married Albert F. DeRue Sr. He survives, with two sons, Brian of Chicago and Albert F. Jr. of South Bend; three grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Zombik of South Bend.
A son, Thomas, preceded her in death.
Private services and burial will be Saturday in Riverview Cemeteiy, South Bend. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, where a rosary will be said at 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Medical Center Dialysis Unit.
