Edward Emery Nyari

SOUTH BEND - Edward E. Nyari, 80, passed away at 11:56am Sunday, December 25, 2016 in Memorial Hospital.

Edward was born on July 24, 1936 in South Bend to Louis and Katherine (Simon) Nyari. He retired after 50 years as the owner / operator of Eddie's Barber Shop. Ed was also past president of Local 927 of the Barber's Union and served in the United States Army.

On May 24, 1958 he married the former Valery Jovanich. She died on November 3, 2015. Ed was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Bobbi Marie Nyari, 2 sisters Viola Colpitts and Kathryn Dezamitz and 4 brothers William Nyari, Joseph Nyari, Alex Nyari, and Louis Nyari.

Surviving are 3 sons Ronald Nyari of North Liberty, Robert (Michelle) Nyari and Richard Nyari both of South Bend, 4 grandchildren Matt Nyari, Casandra (Todd) Laudeman, Alexis Nyari, and Angela (Kris) Riddle, and 7 great-grandchildren Chase Laudeman, Bailey Laudeman, Ryan Nyari, Ace Nyari, Nayomi Riddle, Jaycee Riddle and Teighler Riddle.
