Patricia Ann Bejma (Howard)

Patricia Ann (Bejma) Howard

November 14, 1936   -   June 3, 2025

Patricia Ann Howard, 88, of Granger, Indiana, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at StoryPoint Healthcare, surrounded by her devoted family on June 3, 2025.

Born on November 14, 1936, in South Bend, Indiana, Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Irene (Buczynski) Bejma. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Howard, grandchildren, Ryan Moore and Zachary Flowers, her siblings: Eugene Bejma, Bernard Bejma, Mary Jane Stopczynski, and Barbara Bejma.

Patricia was a proud graduate of Washington High School, where she was an enthusiastic member of the marching band and sang. She was a woman of many talents and passions—she loved crafting, reading, and traveling—but above all, she cherished time spent with her family.

A devout Catholic throughout her life, Patricia was formerly a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church where she taught CCD Classes, happy and proud of serving, and more recently worshipped at Saint Pius X Catholic Church. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her with strength, compassion, and grace.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Sharon (Joseph) Wawrzyniak, Laurie (Brian) McLemore, Frank (Caroline) Flowers, Jeffrey (Lynn) Flowers, Tim (Judi) Howard, and Pam (Jim) Webster. She was the proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, with a Rosary service beginning at 4:30 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Saint Pius X Catholic Church, with Father Augustine Onuoha officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.

Thanks to Heart To Heart Hospice and StoryPoint for all the loving care given to Patricia and her family.

Memorials may be given to Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 W. Edison Rd #122, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

Patricia’s unwavering love, her steadfast faith, and her gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
