David Gottfried Van Kirk

WESTFIELD - David G. Van Kirk, 70, of Westfield died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
Mr. Van Kirk was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served from 1963-83, and the U.S. Marine Corps, where be served from 1951-63. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He was born Sept. 8, 1933, in Omaha, Neb.
He was a 1961 graduate of Indiana University. He was married to Doreen Van Kirk. She survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, David Gregory Van Kirk of St. Louis, Gordon Vernon Van Kirk of Westfield, and Jeffrey Edward Van Kirk of Indianapolis; a daughter, Patricia Van Kirk of Westfield; a brother, John Van Kirk of Arizona; and three grandchildren.
