Edward D. Pietrzak

SOUTH BEND Edward D. "Peppy" Pietrzak, 59, of North Edison Avenue, died at 5 a.m. Monday in his home after an illness. Mr. Pietrzak was employed at RACO Corp. He was born Jan. 13, 1934, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

Surviving are a daughter, Janet Stout of South Bend; three grandchildren; a sister, Cynthia Kazmierczak of South Bend; a brother, Leonard of New Carlisle; and his companion, Patricia L. Lula of South Bend.

He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member and past secretary of union Local 913, and a member of West Side Democratic and Civic Club.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home
