JoAnn Barbara (Krojniewski) Chrapliwy

JoAnn B. Chrapliwy “Momma Suds”, 70, passed away at 2:15 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004 at her daughter’s residence. JoAnn was born on Dec.4, 1933 in South Bend to Walter and Verna (Karpinski) Krojneiwski who have both preceded her in death.

On Aug. 30, 1958, in South Bend, she married Floyd Chrapliwy who passed away on May 15, 1997. A brother, Arthur Krojniewski, and sister Delores Cukrowicz have also passed away.

She is survived by daughter, Judith (Dale) Kujawa of South Bend, grandchildren, Dale Jr., and Dustin Kujawa, both of South Bend, along with best friend Rosie Norris, also of South Bend.

JoAnn was a very giving person and she enjoyed working in her yard. Her grandsons were her pride and joy. She and her husband were co-owners of Floyd’s Place in Niles, Mich., before selling and retiring.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, Oct. 26 from 2 to 8 p.m.in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Services will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial to follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
