Lester E. Wiseman

Aug. 15, 1933 - April 18, 2005

Lester E. Wiseman, 71, of Esther Avenue, Mishawaka, passed away in Memorial Hospital on April 18, 2005. Lester was born August 15, 1933, to William and Mary Audrey (Wood) Wiseman in Haxby, Montana.

On June 19, 1960, in Boone Grove, Indiana, he married Joann Sebens. Lester is survived by his loving wife; his sons, Dean (Lori) Wiseman of Mishawaka and Dan (Jennifer Fisher) Wiseman of South Bend; brother, Glen (Sharon) Wiseman of South Bend and Arizona; sisters, Ruby (Gilbert) Hancock of South Bend and Donna Wren of South Bend; and two grandchildren, Davis and Bailey. Lester was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lawrence Wiseman and Harold Wiseman; and by sisters, Grace Kollar and Dorothy Simon.

Friends may visit on Thursday, April 21 , 2005, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in Lighthouse Baptist Church, 3050 Edison Road, South Bend. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior in the church. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.

Lester graduated from Washington High School in South Bend. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He received a Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged in 1962. Lester was a Founding Member, Junior Achievement Member and Trustee at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Lester was retired from National Bank, formerly Norwest Bank, where he was Vice President of Trusts Banker.
