Lorraine M (Odynski) Taberski

SOUTH BEND - Lorraine M. Taberski, 79, passed away at 3:05 pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, in the East Lake Terrace in Elkhart. Lorraine was born May 16, 1933, in South Bend, to the late John and Josephine (Michalski) Odynski. Lorraine was also preceded in death by brother, John Odynski, and brother-in-law, Frank Taberski.

On May 14, 1955, in St. Casimir's Catholic Church, Lorraine married Henry Taberski. He survives along with daughters, Marcia (Greg) Ringler and Gail (Jack) Blanchard; son, Philip (Kim) Taberski; step-granddaughter, Angie (Brad) Murphy; step-grandson, Eric (Danielle) Byrum; four step-great-grandchildren; brother, James (Christine) Ornat; sisters-in-law, Loretta Taberski and Eleanore (Peter) Brennan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and great-nieces and nephews.

Lorraine worked as a Secretary for Ohio National Life Insurance. She enjoyed reading and was an avid Notre Dame football fan. She also liked to travel and spend time with her family.

Visitation for Lorraine will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 30, 2012, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2012, in St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
