Jack Bible Northrup

Jack Bible Northrup, 55, Simi Valley, died Friday at home after a brief illness. Mr. Northrup was born July 23, 1933, in Montpelier, Ohio, and was an 18-year county resident, coming from Anaheim. He was an engineer for I.T.T. Gilfilian Co. in Van Nuys for 28 years.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by wife Roberta; sons Scott and Todd Stromenger of Simi Valley; daughters Elena Northrup, Debbie Kapitan and Vicki Rudell of Simi Valley, Lisa Northrup of Chino and Edie Workman of Quartz Hill; mother Ruby of Bryan, Ohio; brother Jim of St. Maries, Idaho; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church of Simi Valley, with the Rev. Frank Witman officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Reardon Simi Valley Mortuary. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in West Los Angeles
