John F. Lubinski

John F. Lubinski, 84, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care. John was born June 1, 1932 in South Bend, to the late Carl and Bernice (Trojanowski) Lubinski. John was also preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Lubinski; and sisters, Rita Yanko, and Eileen Lesher.

On September 4, 1954 John married his loving wife Esther (Jasinski) Lubinski; she survives along with their children, John Lubinski, Marcia (Lee Davis) Rathwick, Cheryl (Claude Devaney) Kelly, and Kenneth (Lydia) Lubinski; grandchildren, Mathew & Michael Dyer, Stephanie, Stacy, Tara & John Jr. Lubinski, Deaven Rathwick, Tayler Slott; and nine great-grandchildren.

John proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Winston. John was the owner/operator of Dial Service, Appliance Repair. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church where he was a member of the Ushers Club. John was also member of the VFW 9820, and the Crumstown Conservation Club.

Visitation for John will be 2:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, February 10, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary to be prayed 3:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, February 11, 2017 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
