Patricia Jean (Lane) Frederick

Sept. 26, 1932 - June 15, 1997

Patricia Jean Frederick, daughter of the late Donald I. and Virginia (Horvath) Lane, was born on September 26, 1932, in South Bend, Ind., and entered into rest on Sunday, June 15, in St. Louis, Mo. She was 64 years, 8 months, and 20 days of age at the time of her death.

Pat was united in marriage to John Wesley Frederick on August 11, 1953, and to this union two children were born. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband John on June 17, 1996.

She is survived by her daughter Jean Milovich and her husband George of South Bend; a son, John B. Frederick and his wife Julie of Salem, Mo.; a foster-son, Michael Bowlby of South Bend; two brothers, Donald and Rick Lane, both of lowa; two sisters, Joyce Tate and her husband Charles of Rochester, Ind., and Mary Jo Grice and her husband Jerry of South Bend; four grandchildren, Christian and Nicholas Milovich, and Melissa and Anthony Frederick; as well as by a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Pat was a member of St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church in South Bend. She loved to sing and was a member of the Fredrick Chopin Choir in South Bend. Pat was also a member of the St. Joseph County F.O.P., and was a volunteer with the CASA program of Missouri. She enjoyed playing Bingo in her spare time.

She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and especially friend. She will be sadly missed by her family, and by the many friends whose lives she touched.
