John Marshall Easton

July 9, 1932 - June 7, 1990

SOUTH BEND - Services for John Marshall Easton, 57, of Oak Park, Ill., formerly of South Bend, who died at 11:40 p.m. Thursday in his home after a one-year illness, will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call an hour before services at the church. Alford's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Easton was a retired teacher with the Chicago Public Schools. Born July 9, 1932; in South Bend, he moved to Illinois in 1959.

On Sept. 5, 1956; in South Bend, he married Lillie James, who died June 16,1 1986.

Surviving are three daughters, Janeen Collier, Cynthia Easton and Daphne Easton, all of Oak Park; a son, Myron Dwayne of Oak Park; three grandchildren; five sisters, Ruby Sims of Milwaukee, Vivien Scott and Terry Billingsley, both of South Bend, Faye Mailon of San Diego, and Fern Taylor of Minneapolis; seven brothers, Henry of Saginaw, Mich., Odie, Charles, Billy and Melvin, all of South Bend, Willie of Chicago, and Earnest of San Diego; and his mother, Mahalia Easton of South Bend.
