Eugene Adolph Bloch

Eugene A. Bloch, 48, of 24185 North Shore Drive, Edwardsburg, died about 4:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Medical Center, where he had been a patient for seven weeks.
He was born on April 28, 1934, in South Bend and had lived in Edwardsburg for 14 years, after moving from South Bend. He was a toolmaker at Industrial Plastics, Inc., in Elkhart, where he had been employed for 26 years.
On July 5, 1969, in South Bend, he married Katheryn Stoner. She survives with two sons, Michael S. of Hobart, Ind., and Jeffrey A. of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. James (Marian) Fox of South Bend.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka.
He was a sergeant with the Marines during the Korean War, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Edwardsburg and of American Legion Post 308 in Osceola
