Irene “Jinks” (Vargas) Gyori

July 6, 1920 - July 27, 2004

Irene “Jinks” Gyori passed away on Tuesday, July 27, in St. Paul’s Retirement Community. Survivors include her loving husband, Peter; a son, Paul Gyori of South Bend; and a daughter, Diane (Keith) Heiner of Coral Springs, Fla.; and two grandsons, Benjamin Heiner and Nicholas Heiner.

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m.on Monday, August 2, in Holy Cross Church. Rev.Michael C. Matthews will preside. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre Dame. Memorial contributions may be made to the Renaissance Fund of Holy Cross Parish. The St.Joseph Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
