Ollie E. Knudson

SOUTH BEND - Ollie E. Knudson, 88, passed away at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Ollie was born on June 8, 1919, in South Bend, to the late Ollie and Stella (Wojahowski) Knudson. On April 23, 1949, he married Mary Andrysiak, who survives.

Ollie was a T-Sergeant in the United States Air Force, where he performed 31 missions while in service. He also flew shuttles in the Pacific after his tour of duty. He was a supervisor at South Bend Lathe, and was a member of VFW 3820 and the American Legion.
