SOUTH BEND Eugene T. Hudak, 74, of West Fisher Street, died at 10:30 p.m.
Tuesday in his home after illness. Mr. Hudak retired from Michiana Beverage Co. He was born Nov. 11, 1919, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
On Jan. 26, 1948, in South Bend, he married Virginia Janicki. She survives with two daughters, Frances Kidman of Cassopolis and Christine Fergerson of South Bend; two sons, Dennis and Richard, both of South Bend; seven grandchildren.
He was a member of Catholic Church, Teamsters Union Local 364 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9820. He was a veteran of World War II.
Private services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
