Margaret Mary Helvey

Margaret Mary (DeStoop) Helvey, 79, of Village Drive, Mishawaka, Ind., died on Wednesday morning, Sept. 22, in St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. She was born on Jan. 30, 1920, in South Bend, Ind., and had been a lifetime area resident. Mrs. Helvey was a World War II Air Force veteran.

She was married to John Helvey, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a stepson, Donald T. Helvey of Englewood, Colo.; and by a sister, Dina DeStoop of Mishawaka. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in St.

Anthony De Padua Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until services on Saturday in St. Anthony's.
