Stanley Sylvester Dalkowski, 42, of 1409 S. High St., was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital at 5:51 p.m. Monday. Mr. Dalkowski apparently died of a heart attack. He was an employee of the Studebaker Corp..

Born Sept. 10, 1920, in South Bend, he married Evelyn Kalka in St. Casimir's Catholic Church on Oct. 2, 1943. She survives with a son, Conrad, a freshman at Purdue University and daughter, Christine, at home. Also surviving are two brothers, William and Al, both of South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Dobrzykowski of New Carlisle and Mrs. Martha Zmudzinski of South Bend.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the St. Joseph Funeral Chapel. Services will be 9:30 Friday in St. Matthew's Cathedral with Rev. Msgr. Arnold J. Wibbert, rector, officiatling. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home

He was a member of St. Joseph's Young Men's ty, the Holy Name Society of the church, West Side Democratic & Civic Club, Breezer's Club and Studebaker Local 5, UAW.
