William A. Bellairs

MISHAWAKA - William A. Bellairs, 71, of 16450 Chandler Blvd., died at 10:47 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. Mr. Bellairs retired in 1984 from Riblet Products, Elkhart. He was born Oct. 29, 1920, in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 15, 1947, in Mishawaka, he married Garnet Keene. She survives with a daughter, Jeanne Hack of Dowagiac; two sons, William Jr. and Robert, both of Mishawaka; one grandchildren; a sister, Betty McGee of Mishawaka; and a brother, Jim Hack of Kalamazoo.

A daughter, JoAnn Bellairs, died in 1963.

He was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Elkhart, and was a veteran of World War II.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St
