Frank J. Nowostawski

Frank J. "Butch" Nowostawski, 53, of North Gran Street in Lakeville, Ind., was pronounced dead on Fri-day, Feb. 21, in his home. Mr. Nowostawski was born on April 6, 1949, in South Bend, Ind., to Frank Nowostawski and Stella Wacunas. His father preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Stella Nowostawski of South Bend; his sister, Suzann (Douglas) Basker of South Bend; and by brothers, Bert (Joyce) Wroblewski of South Bend and Ray Wroblewski of South Bend. 

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. Cremation has taken place. Mr. Nowostawski attended Washington High School. He was loved by all who knew him. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the CASIE Center, 912 E. LaSalle Street, South Bend, IN 46617; or to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545-3099.
