Terez Parker Jr., affectionately known as “Junior” departed this life at the tender age of 17, unexpectedly during the early morning hours of Friday, March 18, 2022. He was born to Terez Sr. and Tamala Parker on November 13, 2004, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. 

Terez attended Washington High School for his freshman, sophomore, and a portion of his junior year. He continued his education at Rise Up Academy within the South Bend Community School Corporation. He was employed at the University of Notre Dame, working in the South Dining Hall.

Terez was a devoted, loving father of one, as well as a beloved brother and friend to many.

Terez is survived by one son, Khalil Trey Simmons of South Bend, Indiana; his son’s mother, Kena Simmons of South Bend, Indiana, one brother, Kyreece Parker of South Bend, Indiana and 2 sisters: Aadriana Parker of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Trinity Parker of South Bend, Indiana.

In addition, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Cornel Johnson Sr., and LaVanda Carr of South Bend, Indiana. Paternal grandfathers, Ronnie Parker, and Elton Thompson of South Bend, Indiana and was proceeded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joni Thompson.

Terez’s special friends that he held near and dear to his heart: Leah Joiner, Chianti Hobbs, Louis Hampton, Carey Kimble, and Jayon Branch.
