Tossie Mae (Lee) Sigh
December 25, 1943 ~ August 25, 2023 (age 79)
Mrs. Tossie Mae Sigh, 79, of South Bend, Indiana passed away peacefully after a long illness at Heritage Point Memory Care Facility in Mishawaka, Indiana.
She was born Tossie Mae Lee on December 25, 1943, in Vance, Mississippi to the late Demyers Lee and the late Estella Hunt. She moved to South Bend at a young age and attended Washington High School.
She relocated to St. Louis, Missouri where she met the love of her life, Jimmie Sigh. The two married and returned to South Bend after some time. Tossie and Jimmie remained together for 49 years until her beloved husband passed away in 2017.
Tossie was soft spoken, pleasant and had a beautiful smile. She loved spending time with her family, bowling and working puzzles.
Tossie leaves to cherish her loving memory, three daughters, Yolanda Lee of Lithonia, Georgia, Yovelle and Chavone Frazier; a son, Byron Sigh; a grandson, Tyron Frazier (Mariah); and granddaughters Chandria Hunt, Sheria Everett (Curt), Sharaine and Deria Winston all of South Bend and Jasmine and Jacquies Graham of Atlanta, Georgia; 17 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Lovie Coleman of St. Louis, and Janice Warren (Edward); one brother, Anthony Lee (Germaine) and a sister in law, Jackie Lee, all of South Bend; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Along with her parents and husband, Tossie was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Frances Lee and two brothers, Andrew Lee (Jackie) and Kenneth Lee.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you make a donation to the Dementia Society of America (dementiasociety.org) in her name.
