Robert E. Wrzesien, Jr
Robert E. Wrzesien, Jr., 55, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 in Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital of Westerville, Ohio, in the arms of his loving wife.
Robert was born to Robert E. Wrzesien, Sr. and Donna (Laird) Wrzesien on September 7, 1968 in South Bend, IN. He married Kathryn Muffley, January 24, 2024, on National Peanut Butter Day. He worked as a facilities manager for Grand Emerald Place of South Bend, IN. He enjoyed his jeep, muscle cars and woodworking.
Robert is survived by his wife, Kathryn Wrzesien; his daughter, Catherine Wrzesien of Indianapolis, IN; his stepdaughter, Ella Muffley of Plymouth, IN; his sons: Dylen (Isabella) Wrzesien of Nappanee, IN; Tyler Holderman of South Bend, IN; his stepson, John Muffley of Plymouth, IN; his sister, Robin Hill of South Bend, IN; his grandchildren: Willow and Whitleigh Wiler; along with numerous adoptive and foster children.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Donna Wrzesien, Sr.; his uncle, William Wrzesien; and his brother-in-law, Paul Hill.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).
