Robert Earl Anderson

Robert Earl Anderson, known affectionately to his friends and family as Robert, was born on December 23, 1952, and passed away on June 28, 2023. His life was a testament to the enduring power of hard work, good humor, and a deep love for the people in his life. Robert attended Harrison Elementary and Washington High School. As an assembler at Walmart before his retirement after working 11years, Robert demonstrated an admirable level of dedication to his work. His passion, however, lay in his hobbies, which included working in his yard, joking with friends and family, and showing off his car. Robert was truly an artist of life, crafting beautiful memories for all who knew him.

Robert was a pillar of strength and a beacon of laughter for his family, and he will be deeply missed by those who survive him. He leaves behind his beloved children, Tania Bailey and Jerome Anderson; loving siblings, John Anderson, Darlene Johnson, and Ronnie Anderson; cherished nieces and nephews, Belinda Johnson, David Johnson, Montez Johnson, and Joshua Anderson. His extended family, the Richard and Davis families, also mourn his passing. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, John and Beatrice Anderson, his sister, Helene Anderson, and his niece, Tracey Williams.

Robert's love will forever live on in the memories we shared with him. Please join us in celebrating the life of this extraordinary man. The memorial service to celebrate Robert's life will be held at Alford's Mortuary, located at 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, Indiana, 46601, on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 12:30 pm EDT.
