SOUTH BEND Dr. Donald F. Stepniewski, 62, of Perrysburg, Ohio, formerly of South Bend, died Wednesday in St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, Ohio, after an illness. Dr. Perry practiced medicine in Toledo, Ohio, for 33 years. He was born Oct. 9, 1932, in South Bend.

On Oct. 7, 1972, in Toledo, he married Norma Jean Estel. She survives with two daughters, Lynn M. Stepniewski of Arcata, Calif., and Linda J. Wegman of Maumee; three sons, Michael B. of Perrysburg, Dale S. of Philadelphia and David J. of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary Ann Karnafel and Carol Lee Vanatta; and two sisters-in-law, Betty J. Stepniewski and Bashia Stepniewski, both of South Bend.

He was a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg. Burial will be in Fort Meigs, Cemetery, Perrysburg. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Assembly of God Church Building Fund, St. Luke's Hospital Foundation, Maumee, OH 43537 or any charity.
