Clarine (Payne) Cecil

SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Clarine Cecil, 82, of Pendleton, Indiana, formerly of South Bend, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013, in her home after an illness. She was born to the union of Alec Payne and Mattie Lee Minies-Payne on May 31, 1931, in Baldwyn, Mississippi.

She united in holy matrimony to Marcus Cecil, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Clarine retired from South Bend Community School Corporation. After moving from South Bend to Pendleton, Indiana, she became a member of Grandview Church in Pendleton.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory one daughter, Rene Cecil-Ordone; and a son, Charles Anthony (Carol) Cecil; grandchildren: Terence (Ashanti) Ordone, Candace (Carl) Cecil-Carr, Charles Adam Cecil and Christian Royale-Cecil; four great-grandchildren; along with a brother, Robert Minies.
