Vincent J. Nagy

South Bend - Vincent "Vince" J. Nagy, 90, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Vince was born on January 21, 1931 in South Bend, IN to the late Emery and Anna (Nemes) Nagy.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Rita (Renee) and his son Thomas. Also preceded in death are three sisters; Mary (Norbert) Niezgodski, Ann (Frank) Deak, Irene (John) Niedosik and brother Joseph (Rose) Nagy.

Left to cherish the memory of Vince are brothers; Emery A. Nagy and Francis (Toby) Nagy; grandson, Chris (Angelica) Nagy; great-grandsons, Caleb and Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.

Vince served his country during the Korean War as a United States Marine. He was a South Bend Police Officer for 29 years and a FOP #36 member. Vince was inducted into the South Bend Bowling Hall of Fame in 1996. Vince was a die hard Purdue fan and loved playing golf. He will truly be missed by all.
