Adeline L. (Ciesielski) De Schepper
Adeline L. De Schepper, 91, of Edwardsburg, MI passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Adeline was born on April 12, 1932, in South Bend to the late Vincent and Irene (Stangreciak) Ciesielski.
On October 27, 1956, in St. Casmir Catholic Church in South Bend, she married Robert A. De Schepper who preceded her in death on April 7, 2017. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Evelyn Lesczynski, Dolores Pinkowski and Dorothy Mathia. Adeline is survived by her children, Robert De Schepper, David De Schepper, Scott De Schepper and Linda (Joe) Weldy; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michele and Phillip Weldy, Robert De Schepper, Chelsea Allard and Corey De Schepper; and a brother-in-law, Roger Mathia.
Adeline was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edwardsburg, MI. She had a very strong faith and dedication to her church. She enjoyed playing bingo every week for years. She also enjoyed having and going to garage sales.
The family will receive friends from 3 pm -6 pm on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 24832 US 12 East, Edwardsburg, MI 49112 with visitation 1 hour prior at the church. Adeline will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka, IN.
