DANIEL E. WISKOTONI
Daniel E. Wiskotoni Sept. 4, 1917 - April 27, 2014 GRANGER - Daniel E. Wiskotoni, 96, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014, in his home. Daniel was born September 4, 1917, in South Bend, to the late Ignatius and Bertha Wiskotoni. Daniel married Marie (Bogacki) Wiskotoni; she preceded him in death. Daniel was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Wiskotoni, and daughter-in-law, Kathleen Wiskotoni; Brothers, Joe and Bert Wiskotoni; sisters, Gene Stasiak, Florence Bella, Alice Richmond.
Survivors of Daniel include his children, Susan Mullin of Granger, Johnny (Nancy) Wiskotoni of South Bend and Paul (Paula) Wiskotoni of Ruskin, FL; Brothers, Norbert and Raymond Wiskotoni; grandchildren, Lori, James, Jennifer, Sarah; and great-grandson, Conner.
Daniel retired in 1967 from the South Bend Police Department after 20 years of service. He was a member of the FOP, and the Huddle Club of Washington High School. Daniel was Washington High School's first Captain of the Football Team. Daniel enjoyed fishing, riding bikes, and gardening.
Visitation for Daniel will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, May 1, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 pm. A Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, May 2, 2014, in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1050 Wilber St., South Bend, IN 46628. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
