VIRGINIA T. VLANTIS

Virginia Thistle Vlantis 17, of South Bend passed away October 6, 2008. She passed away suddenly due to complications in her lifelong battle with a rare form of histiocytosis.

Virginia was a junior at Washington High School in South Bend, a Twenty-first Century Scholar, and hoped to be a veterinarian technician.

Thistle will be remembered with love and joy by her mother, Penny Cline; father and stepmother, William and Gayle Vlantis; sister and best friend, Lilly Anna Cline; grandparents, Michael and Patricia Vlantis and Wayne and Lanita Cline; and by many extended family members.

A memorial celebration will be held Sunday, October 26th at 3 p.m. at All Souls Unitarian Church, 5805 E. 56th St, Indpls. Memorial contributions may be made to the Histiocyte Society. Arrangements entrusted to A.R.N. Cremation Services.
