DELPHINE (VANHULLE) THORMAN

Delphine Thorman, 80, of Phoenix, passed away November 16, 2005.
She is survived by her sister Helena Hamann, her daughter Gayle (Virgil) Diaz, sons John Craig (Mary) and Edmond Dale (Connie) grandchildren, Jason, Nicole, Tiffany, Ryan and Theresa and is preceded in
death by husband Richard Fredrick Thorman, sister Gabrielle Synave and brother Maurice VanHulle. Delphine was born August 28, 1925 in South Bend Indiana. Her father Edmond VanHulle, mother Martina DePaepe VanHulle, both born in Belgium.

Delphine graduated from Washington High School, South Bend Indiana, class of 1943.

She also attended business school in South Bend. Delphine and Richard were married September 3, 1949. They packed the Rambler with the kids and moved out west to Phoenix, the summer of 1959. Delphine enjoyed raising her family and doing volunteer secretarial work for the Red Cross. She lived happily with Richard until his passing on January 2, 2001.

She will be put to rest with Richard at National Memorial Cemetery of AZ. A loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Arrangements in care of Shadow Mountain Mortuary.
