SOUTH BEND - On Friday, October 2, 2009, Brandon Sullivan was called to his heavenly home. Brandon was born to Vija Pittman and Maurice Sullivan on July 24, 1989, in Chicago, IL. Brandon accepted Christ at a young age, where he attended and served faithfully at New Horizons Outreach Ministry under the pastorage of Apostle Dennis J. and Prophetess Deborah D. Givens, where he also accepted his calling into the ministry.

Brandon graduated from Washington High School in 2008. He attended college at Indiana University at South Bend where he was pursuing a degree in business.

Brandon enjoyed listening to and creating gospel rap music. He also loved to spend time with his family mid friends.

Left to cherish Brandon's memory are his father, Maurice Sullivan of Indianapolis; four brothers, Deante (Scooter) Gunn of South Bend, Dominicque Sullivan, Chantler Sullivan, Brent Sullivan, all of Indianapolis; maternal grandmother, Marie (Toni) Pittman of Chicago; paternal grandmother, Kandre Sullivan of Indianapolis; great-grandmother, Thelma Pittman of South Bend; aunts, Val Pittman of Georgia, Tomorrow Pittman of Texas, Brenda (Mike) Snider of Elkhart, Cheryl (Michael) Hannah of Texas, Latoya Sullivan, Shaunta Sullivan of Indianapolis; Dori Vinson of Texas; uncles, Vinson Pittman of Texas, Chuck (Pam) Vinson of California, Larry (Laura) Pittman of South Bend, Michael Pittman of South Bend, Phillip Sullivan and Sharif Sullivan, both of Indianapolis; special cousins, Briteme McGee, Jaleen McGee, Jasmine Baker, Charles (Chuckie) Taylor, Mercedes Taylor, Delshawn Pickett, Shamica Echols, Tamorrow Echols, Darvarius Echols; godparents, Mr. and Mrs. White; godmother, Voncia Wilkins; godsisters, Janett Thomas, Shuntriece Hughes; godbrother, Troy Thomas; special friends, Cory X. Coleman and Kenneth J. Anderson; and a host of other family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Vija Pittman, and his paternal grandfather, Roosevelt Pittman.

Funeral services for Mr. Brandon Sullivan will be held at noon on Saturday, October 10, at New Horizon's Outreach Ministry where the pastor, Apostle Dennis Givens, will be officiating. Visitation will take place in the church one hour prior to the services.
