BERNARD J. RYDZYNSKI

Bernard J. Rydzynski, 87, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning at Hospice House.
Bernie was born in South Bend on August 13, 1925 to the late Joseph and Jenny (Kubiak) Rydzynski.

He graduated from Washington High School.

On February 4, 1950 he married Violet R. Lewinski who survives of South Bend. He was employed at St. Joe Distributing now the Ridge Company, Bellows Valvair, Federal Mogul and Hibschman Pontiac. Always a "car guy" he was an avid golfer, enjoyed music and architecture.

Along with Mrs. Rydzynski he is survived by a son Rick (Vicky) Rydzynski of South Bend; a daughter Ruth (Jim) Demski of Lincolnshire, IL; three grandchildren: Amanda (Ken) Klukowski, Drew Griffis and Alex ( Laura) Griffis; four great-grandchildren; a sister Dorothy (her husband the late Connie) Kazmierczak; a brother Ervin (Barbara) Rydzinski all of South Bend.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11AM with visitation from 10-11AM all at St. Anthony dePadua Catholic Church, Jefferson & Ironwood.
