SOUTH BEND - In loving memory of a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, godmother and friend who is known to many and loved by more. We see your beautiful smile and know that God and heaven wanted our angel, "Ratta," more than us on the early morning of September 4th, 2009. We still hear your sweet laughter.
Veto was born on July 31, 1985, in South Bend, and attended Washington High School and praised God at St. Adalbert Catholic Church.
She loved her daughter, Mary D. Marsh, enjoyed the sound of music and spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by her parents, Juan S. Perez and Mary H. Perez; sister, Leticia (Mark) Casarez; and brothers, Duane and Jessie Perez; as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Preceding Veranica in death were her baby brother, Juan Perez Jr., grandparents, Jesus and Catarina Felan, Manuel and Ofelia Perez, and the father of her daughter, Brennan W. Marsh, and they are awaiting her with open arms at heaven's gate.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Graveside services and burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8th, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, where a Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Contributions in memory of Veranica R. Perez may be donated to the Palmer Funeral Home, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46614.
