KIM V. MOORE
Kim V. Moore Oct. 20, 1963 - April 20, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Kim Vanessa Moore, 50, of Olive Street in South Bend, Indiana, departed this life on Sunday, April 20, 2014, in Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after a brief illness. Kim was born on October 20, 1963, to Van Moore and Beatrice Moore in South Bend, Indiana. Kim was a lifelong resident.
She received her education through the South Bend Community School system, graduating from Washington High School.
Kim worked various jobs throughout her life, her most recent being employed as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at Cardinal Nursing Home. She enjoyed life and always greeted you with a big smile whenever she saw you. Kim's past few years were spent assisting her daughter with raising her grandsons.
Kim leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Sheneka Johnson; two grandsons, Chosen Taylor and Sincere Taylor; her father, Van Moore; three brothers, Darryl (Cheryl) Ashby, Vance [Moore] & Andr‚ Moore; three sisters, Angela [Moore] Donaldson, Kimberly [Moore] Parker, all of South Bend, Indiana, and Marla Kay Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Kim will be greatly missed by all.
Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice [Ashby] Moore, and her maternal grandparents, Jamesella and Rev. Willie V. Williams.
A Memorial Service for Kim will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014, in Kingdom Christian Center Church, 2010 Elwood Avenue, South Bend.
