PARNELL LANE

Mr. Parnell Lane, 70, of South Bend, Indiana passed away suddenly on Friday, October 1, 2021.
Parnell was born in South Bend, Indiana on January 24, 1951, to the union of James A. Lane and Vernice Bonds-Lane.

He attended Washington High School.

Parnell worked for Home Depot for many years, was an entrepreneur at heart, owning and operating several businesses. Parnell enjoyed listening to music, watching CNN, having discussions with his sister and brother-in-law about events and scriptures, especially Revelation.

Parnell was a beloved father who enjoyed his visits to California to spend time with family and his grandchildren.

Parnell is survived by three children: Kurtis Lane of Dallas, Texas, Samara Taylor (Travis) of Elk Grove, CA and Ahmad J. Lane of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Three grandchildren; Sydnie and Leia Taylor, Britany Lane; three sisters, Perl Blake (Hardie), Patricia Fleming (Anthony) of Wesley Chapel, Florida, Tanya Anderson of South Bend, IN. two brothers; James Lane (Yvonne) of Connecticut, Delbert Lane (Beverly) of Elk Grove, CA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Parnell was preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Vernice Lane and his son Adrian Griffin.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no public service.
