THERESA H. (SUCSZEK) GARRISON

SOUTH BEND - Theresa H. Garrison, 82, passed away at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010, in the Sanctuary at St. Joseph. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Garrison, who passed away on September 17, 1967; and by her mother, Mary Sucszek.

Theresa is survived by her daughters, Sandy Sanders and Debbie (Jeff) Grove; sons, James and Stanley; sister, Lorraine (Tony) Caligiuri; nieces, Patricia Stratton and Annie Grove; and nephews, Kenny (Shirley) Szymczak, Stanley Garrison Jr., Matthew Grove and Michael Sanders.

Theresa was a parishioner at St. Mary National Catholic Church and a graduate of Washington High School.

She liked to go out to dinner, and loved to shop and cook. A special "Thank You" to the nurses and staff of the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care and the Sanctuary at St. Joseph.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. today, November 22, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
