Antonio Dodson - Class Of 1998 VIEW PROFILE

ANTONIO DODSON

Antonio Dodson, 42, was born in South Bend, Indiana to a loving mother, Jeanell Smith. Tony, was affectionately known as 'L.O,' 'Mr. 102' 'Keys,' or 'Digital Deshaun' to his family and loved ones. He was a man that held many titles; titles that represented his many loves and talents. L.O. was a moniker he adopted that embodied his love for lyrics. Mr. 102 Keys blends together a host of memories that involve family and music. Digital Deshaun was the passionate artist who perfected his skills from paper drawings to graphic designs. These names describe Tony's personality perfectly, but still, fail to say all that he was to his family and friends.

A lifetime resident of South Bend, Indiana Tony graduated from Washington High School and went on to obtain a degree in graphic design from Ivy Tech Community College. In 2007 Tony became a full-time father who enjoyed cooking, grilling, being with his children, and making his family laugh. To the outside world, Tony was a gentle giant whose demeanor was quiet and reserved. To his family, he was non-stop laughter and jokes. Always positive vibes only.

To celebrate his life and legacy Tony leaves his mother, Jeanell Smith; his children: ReShaun and Laille Dodson; and their mother. Three siblings: Briana, Joana, and Brion "Duder" Smith; grandfather, Jim Dodson; uncle, Jim "Bunny" Dodson; aunt, Veronica Foster; nephews: Martin Neal, and Tennell Lambert; and niece, Emani Easton. He also leaves a host of cousins that were like brothers and sisters; and special love, Crystal Jackson whose children he loved as his own.
Tony was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beatrice Dodson.
