SOUTH BEND - LaDonna Louise Harris, age 48, of Ford Street, South Bend, IN, was called home on November 27, 2015, at Trailpoint Village, South Bend, IN.

LaDonna was born March 18, 1967, in South Bend, IN, to Ernestine Brown and Charles Harris. She was a 1986 graduate of Washington High School. She was a member of Faith Apostolic Ministries. Her passions were crossword puzzles, dancing, and spending time with her grandsons.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Sherrell Smith; one son, Alan Smith; two grandsons, Christopher Wilson and Dariontay Smith, all of South Bend, IN; two sisters, Candy (Tim) Atkins of Indianapolis, IN, and April (Jessie) Lott; four brothers, David (Lavette) Purnell, both of South Bend, IN, Corey Purnell of Indianapolis, IN, Leroy (Linda) Purnell and Aaron Purnell, both of Junction City, Kansas; along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine Brown, and by her grandson, Demarius Smith.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Alford's Mortuary on Saturday, December 5, 2015, with viewing occurring from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
