MICHAEL R. CHIDDISTER

SURPRIZE, AZ - Michael Ryan Chiddister, 27, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011, in Glamis, CA, where he was on a weekend getaway with co-workers and friends when an accident occurred. Mikie was born on July 27, 1983, in South Bend, to Michael D. Chiddister and Lori L. (Lisenko) Kolecki.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael; grandparents, Etta and Ray Lisenko, Rita Andysiak and Lawrence Chiddister.

He is survived by his mother, Lori L. Kolecki of South Bend; sister, Noelle (Brian) Krawiec of South Bend; two brothers, Andrew and Marc Chiddister, both of South Bend; and by two nephews, Gavin and Gage Krawiec, both of South Bend. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Jhannin Zent of Surprize, AZ, with whom he shared his love of life for nine years.

Mikie graduated from Washington High School and attended IUSB. He was employed by Climate Control, Chandler, AZ. He was a movie aficionado, and loved the West and exploring the Old Western towns and culture. He enjoyed target shooting, mountain biking, music, and loved going to concerts. Michael had a great love for trains and automobiles. He had a lifelong love of cooking from his nanny and mother. Mikie will be remembered by all, for his quick sense of humor and wit.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, in St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 331 S. Scott St., South Bend, IN 46601.
