ANGELA L. (BLONDELL) WENZEL

SOUTH BEND - Angela L. (Blondell) Wenzel, 29, of Milwaukee, WI, formerly of South Bend, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at 8:00 p.m. in St. Francis Hospital, Milwaukee. Angela was born on February 23, 1980, in South Bend, to Robert and Carol Blondell. On November 11, 2006, she married Morgan Wenzel in Milwaukee, who survives. She is also survived by her parents, Robert and Carol of South Bend; a brother, Brian (Christi) Blondell of Osceola, IN; grandmother, Mary Jane Phifer; in-laws, Mike and Marge Wenzel of Milwaukee; brother-in-law, Marcus (Jessica) Wenzel of Milwaukee; by a niece, Alexis Blondell, and three nephews, Bryce and Brendon Blondell, and Dane Wenzel; and by many numerous aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Roy and Esther Blondell, Conley "Papa" Phifer, Jim Blondell, David Correll, Edward and Irene Wenzel, Arnold and Leah Marie Koehler, and by Kathy Koehler.

Angie graduated from Washington High School, South Bend, in 1998, and from Carroll College, Waukesha, WI, in 2002. She was a member of the Chi, Omega Sorority and was an employee of Whyte Hirschboeck & Dudek Law Offices. .

Special thanks to St. Francis Hospital 3rd floor nursing staff and hospice care, Dr. Francis Cuevas MD office staff and to all of Angie's Angels. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 25th, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, March 26th, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
